Since joining the Fire in May following a trade from the Los Angeles Galaxy, Magee has scored in each of his teams four league matches, helping the Fire go unbeaten (3-0-1) during the month of June. Magee contributed to the teams offense from the start, scoring the insurance goal in his Fire debut, a 2-0 win against D.C. United on June 2. The following week, Magee helped Chicago come back from two goals down to tie the Portland Timbers on June 8.
